CHICAGO - After over 20 years as a professional musician in the Chicago area, saxophone player Michael Frost has finally released a debut CD, "Nothing Smooth About It" featuring his jazz group, the Mike Frost Project. Since the Release Party at the legendary Andy's Jazz Club in downtown Chicago, the group has been steadily gaining acclaim, including airplay and becoming part of the Blujazz roster. Over the last decade this band has had the privilege of having the steady Sunday Jazz Brunch gig aboard the Odyssey II cruise ship (Navy Pier) as well as being a featured group at many local clubs, venues and private functions
