NSU Jazz Ensemble

The NSU Jazz Ensemble is the flagship ensemble of the NSU Jazz Studies Program at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. The band has recently performed with Geoffrey Keezer, John Riley, Kevin Mahogany, Conrad Herwig, Kenny Werner, Terell Stafford, John Fedchock, and Chris Potter, among many others. Northeastern State University is the only higher education institution in Oklahoma to offer a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies. The NSU Jazz Lab, a unique state-of-the-art performance and recording facility, is the home for the NSU Jazz Studies Program. NSU hosts the Green Country Jazz Festival, which, in its 46th year, is the longest-running jazz festival in the state
