In Childhood, coached by a music professor from Texas Southern University (Houston, Texas) thru Highschool.Then obtained a Piano Performance degree at Indiana university, Bloomington. Played electric bass guitar for 2 years in college while he was a pianist for the Indiana U. music department jazz band (with Dave Baker noted Jazz educator) Finally, got a Hammond B3 organ, while at Indiana U. in 1969,where he formed His first Jazz Organ Trio (organ,guitar,drums) that was very popular around Bars/Partys in town, at private events, and on campus. Bill still has that organ, today, and has never stopped playing
