Porta Palace Collective: Neuroplastic Groove

Read "Neuroplastic Groove" reviewed by Alberto Bazzurro

Marcello Tonolo Quartet: Crazeology

Read "Crazeology" reviewed by Luigi Sforza

Matt Renzi / Stefano Senni / Jimmy Weinstein: 4 Stories

Read "4 Stories" reviewed by Eyal Hareuveni

This recording session of the trio of reed player Matt Renzi, bassist Stefano Senni and drummer Jimmy Weinstein was accidental. The trio had not planned to make a recording, nothing was discussed before the four recorded improvisations, and the session was completed in one day, recorded direct to disc with no edits, and presented in the ...

Matt Renzi: Lunch Special

Read "Lunch Special" reviewed by Blaine Fallis

Lunch Special should win a marketing award for having the freshest CD design concept, although the actual photo of linguine with oysters used as the CD imprint may not be as fresh as the music itself. At least the designer was nice enough to reveal a relatively clean plate inside the tray card once the CD ...

Rosario Di Rosa Trio: Freedom - Improvised Suites for Trio

Read "Freedom - Improvised Suites for Trio" reviewed by AAJ Italy Staff

Tante ...

Flowing seamlessly together with an intuitive cohesiveness, the musicians travel the Seven Seas to find encounters with a wide array of natural oceanic characteristics. ...
