“A highly melodic, authentic improviser” were the words used by the jury of the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where Syberen van Munster (1986) graduated cum-laude in 2009. Soon after that he moved to New York City, where he has established himself as one of the young guitar lions, playing at renowned venues such as Smoke Jazz Club, the Kennedy Center and Rockwood Music Hall. He can also be heard regularly with his trio at legendary jazz-guitar club “The Bar Next Door”.
