Musician

Adrian D'Aguilar

The Bahamas' trail blazer in Jazz, Adrian D'Aguilar, is a true world class musician. Growing up in a time when live music was wonderfully alive in the Bahamas Adrian was quickly caught by the music bug and went on to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston and later at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, where he would graduate as the "Most Outstanding Bassist". After finishing college, Adrian hit the road running, living and working in America in cities like Los Angeles, Baltimore and New York for almost three decades as a full time musician. He's traveled the world working with some of music's greatest from a variety of genres; acts like The Munnings Brothers, The Platters, Eric Gale's Jazz Quartet, The Onaje Alan Gumbs Trio to even the Mighty Sparrow! Not just simply a bassist, Adrian has also worked as an arranger for films and television shows such as "Malcolm in the Middle" and as the arranger for the Disney movie "The Distinguished Gentleman" starring Eddie Murphy, he not only built the scores but made an appearance in the movie itself! Adrian's experience surely speaks for itself.
