Joe Truglio is a drummer, composer, and bandleader based out of Philadelphia and New York. Born and raised in Long Island, Joe was originally inspired to pick up the sticks by his father, a music teacher and performer himself. While attending the University of the Arts Joe established himself as a sought after sideman and ambitious performer. Since graduating in 2005, he has had the opportunity to work with Grammy Award winning artist Dave Valentin, Cuban pianist Elio Villafranca, spanish jazz accordian player Victor Prieto, Venezuelan vibraphonist Alfredo Naranjo, Dave Allen, Christos Rafalides, Universal London recording artist Melody Gardot, and comedian Joe Piscapo
