Sascha Ley, vocalist, improviser, actress, polyglot poet and performer with a penchant for offbeat projects, explores stylistic boundaries at the intersections of jazz, free improvisation, imaginary folklore, classical and new music creating a complementary blend of improvisation and composition.
She performs internationally both solo and with her own duo to quartet combos, and as a guest in a wide variety of ensembles between jazz and contemporary music.
In addition to music, she continues to be active as an actor, performer and occasional director and is involved in the word and visual arts.
