Daniel Rorke

Born:

​ Irish/Australian tenor and soprano saxophonist Daniel Rorke lives in Dublin, and frequently works in Australia, Europe and The United States. He completed his Masters in Jazz Performance at NTNU Jazzlinja in Norway. He also holds a Bachelor in Jazz Performance with first class honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and a PhD in music from the University of New England. His latest album, Naked Allies, recorded in Brooklyn NY, features renowned saxophonist Oscar Noriega (Endangered Blood / Tim Berne’s Snakeoil), Simon Jermyn (Jim Black / Matt Manieri) and Matthew Jacobson (Ronan Guilfoyle / Roamer)
