Mitchell Long

Born:

A vibrant Jazz and Brazilian music artist, Mitchell Long was born in La Jolla CA. to a creative family. His father a writer, mother visual artist and his grandmother a music teacher. His love for many styles of music has shaped him into a unique and original artist. He sings in English and Portuguese, is a great composer and arranger and plays many different stringed instruments as well as percussion. He lives in Los Angeles now since 2003.
Mitchell has toured around the world and recorded with many jazz, pop and world music stars including Melody Gardot, Herb Alpert, Gloria Estefan, Rique Pantoja, Herbie Mann, Maria de Barros, Claudio Roditi, Waldemar Bastos, Dr Lonnie Smith, Vinx, Sergio Mendes, Julia Fordham, Billy Tolles, Rudy Love, Ron Miles and Nelson Rangel among many others
