Alison Lewis

Alison was once described by Cabaret Scenes as, "a singer with a hauntingly beautiful voice who transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary with brilliant arrangements and vocal experimentation." Her debut solo album, Seven, has received much national and international acclaim, as well reached the top 40 of both the CMJ and RMR charts.
A consummate singer/songwriter, her original song, "Seesaw" earned a Finalist position with the 2017 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, while her single "Tidepool" earned a finalist position in the 2017 Hollywood Music in Media Awards showcase. Both the single, "Tidepool," and her album, "Seven" won the May 2017 Akademia Music Awards for Best Americana Song and Best Jazz Album respectively. Alison also lent her songwriting and vocal talents to a recently released album of originals co-written with Peter Yarrow and survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shootings.

Evergreen is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and cello teacher who grew up in the vibrant Austin music scene. Raised as a classical cellist, by the time she was 25 she had performed on stage with musicians such as Sarah Chang, Father John Misty (opening for Paul McCartney), Chris Brubeck, members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and The Eagles. After leaving conservatory, she studied Afro-Indigenous Brazilian folk music and studied improvisation with cello goblin Rushad Eggleston. Evergreen utilizes music to creatively and emotionally empower people of all ages and from all walks of life by maintaining a private lesson studio as well as by participating in musical and workshop collaborations with her colleagues in Austin and abroad.

Angelina Kolobukhova was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus. She started classical piano lessons when she was 5 years old and at 8 years old, she fell in love with singing when she met her voice teacher, Veronika Yanovskaya, who introduced Angelina to jazz music and sparked the fascination with Ella Fitzgerald’s improvisation and Ray Charles’s soulful singing. While receiving her primary education, Angelina participated in international vocal competitions and festivals in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), attending masterclasses and meeting like-minded musicians. In addition to jazz music, Angelina also became inspired by soul artists like Stevie Wonder and Jill Scott, and she released her first single, Off the Road when she was 17.

Performance highlights include the American debut of Songs for My Mother Off-Broadway at Symphony Space (NYC), jazz performances at the iconic Birdland Jazz Club (NYC), and headliner at: Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival, Jazz Bistro (Toronto), The Rex (Toronto), The Jazz Room (Waterloo), and The Registry Theatre (Kitchener). She has toured North America and New Zealand as a performer and workshop leader, and has been a featured soloist with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony. Mary-Catherine has been lucky to share the stage with jazz notables including Billy Stritch, Mark Eisenman, and, classically, the world-renowned Penderecki String Quartet.
