This Midwestern gal has been performing in and around New York City for over a decade. Lauded for her easy, intimate style and silky vocal quality, Michelle continues to build a loyal following. She began private studies at 12 with acclaimed jazz vocalist and educator, Michele Horsefield Carney. She instilled Michelle's love of the Great American Songbook, and nurtured her instrument over the entire course of her youth. While earning her BA in Journalism at Ohio State, Michelle was mentored by extraordinary educators and musicians, including Hank Marr, Gary Carney, Vaughn Weister and Matt Paetsch
