Tom Juhas

About Me

TOM JUHAS took to composing at an early age. His evolving abilities have earned him rewards in his post secondary education at Humber College. Among these awards was the prestigious Oscar Peterson Prize 05/06 and opportunities to perform with jazz legends Michael Brecker, Dave Holland, and Dave Douglas.

Juhas' divergent abilities has taken him around the world with artists of varying genres. Pinnacle tours include; Nashville country artist Beverley Mahood's Afghanistan tour to support Canadian troops 2010 and JUNO nominated dance floor activists Mr. Something Something North American tour summer and fall 2010.

Over the last 2 years Juhas has appeared on many recordings including Elena Kapeleris' Introduction (feat. Pat LaBarbera and Brandi Disterheft), Friendly Rich and the Lollipop People's Sacred Prune of Remembrance, Genie Award Nominee Luke Nicholson's Satellites, and Got A Lot to Prove by Pure Finesse.
