My Jazz Story

I love jazz because my father played trumpet and I listened to it in our home growing up, so it has a very special place for me. Also seeing and hearing Al DiMeola on PBS when I was young, blew my mind how the guitar could be played and changed my life. I was first exposed to jazz from my father as above and grandfather who played guitar in Hungary... I met Pat Martino in California and hung out/chatted for a while about all things music and guitar, so cool... The best show I ever attended was Chick Corea / Electric Band at Massey Hall in Toronto, stellar super power band... The first jazz record I bought was Conciseness by Pat Martino... My advice to new listeners, keep an open mind, heart and soul and embrace it all... so much to learn and enjoy!

My House Concert Story

I have played many house concerts in my performing career, and all have been awesome, well received experiences for the host, artists and guests. Win win for everyone with such an up close and intimate show.
