About Me

Learned to play in the Palo Alto, CA area from 1960-63. Hung out and played with Jerry Garcia and Pigpen (Ron Therrien) prior to their becoming Greateful Dead members. Taught guitar at Progressive Music Studios in Los Altos Hills, CA. Moved to Washington State in 1963 and played in a rock band while attending college. After college (M.S. Psychology) played weekends wherever doing mostly country gigs. Taught Jazz Guitar at Whitman College for 5 years. Currently play jazz duo and solo in wineries in Southeast WA. Play a Gibson Legrande, Gibson Tal Farlow, Stratocaster and P-bass. Member of the Spokane Guitar Society.
