About Me

My name is Monty Craig. I live in Upstate SC. I am the professor of jazz/jazz guitar at Clemson University. My favorite styles to play are modern jazz, latin jazz/salsa, and mainstream bebop. I have have 4 main groups that I am the leader, FunkShua - Fusion/Jam Band; Alma De Candela a 12 - 14 piece Salsa Band; Almalita - Latin/Jazz; and the SAM Monday Night Jazz Allstars. I do many bookings in the area for local and touring jazz artists. (I would love to have you come here and play!)
