Conchita Castillo

About Me

Music has been a passion and a constant in Conchita's life since birth and probably before. Both her parents are great music lovers and, like her, have always been singing or whistling around the house.

Conchita started singing in choirs as a child and has always been fascinated by harmonies. Presently, she sings with several choral groups and with a medieval ensemble. She is also the vocalist in a jazz quartet, a combo and a folk band.

Funnily enough, it is only later in life that she started appreciating jazz, which has quickly become her favourite genre!

Languages are her other passion and she teaches them in her 'day job'.
