International Sparks by day; Vibes Crusader by night
From London England, a DJ and occasional promoter since the late 70s, a BBC radio presenter in the mid 90s (BBC Essex Jazz First) and a record business owner (ViRGO ViBES; Rare Funky & Groovy Records). I moved to southern Spain's Costa Blanca in 2001. I write a regular music column in the local RTN newspaper called “Vibes From The Costas” about the global music scene in Murcia & Alicante. The articles and other local info are posted on my blog. I am an official for the San Javier International Jazz Festival, where I coordinate the English speaking media for accreditation.
