Born & raised in Huntsville, Alabama, trumpeter Ken Watters is a Jupiter
Performing Artist/Clinician, a Summit Records Recording Artist & a SESAC & SACEM
(dual-affiliated) jazz composer. Ken regularly performs all over North, Central & South
America, Italy, France, Holland, Spain, French-speaking Africa, Japan & all throughout
the Caribbean.
His newest musical venture is a Haitian-flavored jazz ensemble called RIYEL
(pronounced ree-YELL & meaning alleyway or backstreet in Haitian Creole). Their
debut CD will be released internationally on Summit Records April 13, 2010.
He & his wife Pamela Watters, a professional pastel artist, now make their home
in Atlanta, Georgia.
