Gary Hinesley writes about land use and community for the Delaware Township Post.

Gary Hinesley graduated Columbia University with a Masters degree in Music Theory; he is a classically trained guitar player. He works for ASCAP as a translator of German and a handful of Romance languages.

After living in New York City for 16 years, he moved to the Delaware River Valley. He got involved in the local planning board, and works as a volunteer on environmental and historic preservation issues. When some friends created an online newspaper, the Delaware Township Post (www.delawaretownshipnj.org) he began writing for it about land use and community.

Gary was drawn into listening to Philadelphia radio by the voices of some of WRTIs great jazz DJs, including Bob Perkins and Harrison Rdley, Jr. His passion for jazz music and his love of Harrisons RTI show led him to write this memorial to Harrison.
