My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...It is freedom. I was first exposed to jazz In Dallas Texas with some great Texas musicians like David Fathead Newman, Onzy Matthews, Claude Johnson, Roger Boykin, Joe Johnson. All are deceased but not my memories or Love for them all for the enlightenment. I met [musician name]...Ray Charles after receiving a call from him to come sing as one of his Raelettes. The best show I ever attended was...So many so many. Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Marlena Shaw, Barbara Morrison and I could go on...all deceased. The first jazz record I bought was...Carmen McRae My advice to new listeners...Stay open Or whatever else you have in mind.
