About Me

Aziza was Endorsed as a Yamaha Artist on Dec. 4, 2008. Aziza has a Masters Degree in Music Education from The Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor degree in Theory from the same school as well. In 1997 Aziza was one of 50 Educators to receive the Presidential Scholar Distinguished Teacher Award from President Bill Clinton in Washington D. C. Aziza's current cd is called Jazzsoetry Vol. 1. It is a mix of urban jazz, soul and poetry. The classic tune “La Costa” which Aziza wrote thirty years ago( recorded by Natalie Cole and Ahmad Jamal) is included on this cd.
