About Me

I bought my first jazz record in 1971 it was Miles Davis's Live Evil I have never been the same since. I worked as a DJ on a radio station in Albuquerque New Mexico in the mid-seventies I had a late-night jazz show that ran from midnight to six in the morning. Miles Davis is my point of reference all roads lead from him. I started out mainly listening to fusion and avant-garde. I only came to bop and cool much later. I purchase an average of about 200-300 Jazz CD's a year. And go to as many concerts as I can.
