King is also the editor and publisher of eJazz Travel & Lifestyle magazine, she is also a contributor to All About Jazz, JazzTimes and eJazz News on-line magazines. King served as copy editor of the Jazz Report Magazine for 19 years as well as contributing writer and photographer. King is co-owner and administrator of the National Jazz Awards Canada.

As a professional photographer, King has specialized in 'live' concert portraits for over 25 years. An official photographer for the TD Toronto Jazz Festival for many years, King's photographs have appeared in books, magazines, newspapers, websites, billboards, CD covers, and transit shelters.

Jazz Journalists Association has nominated King several times for a ‘Jazz Photo of the Year’ Award. In June, 2009 King won the Jazz Journalists Association's Jazz Photo of the Year Award for a photograph taken of Hank Jones at the 2008 Montreal Jazz Festival.

King has participated in solo and group exhibitions as well as concert photography workshops, most recently King participated in a group photography exhibition at the Beaches International Jazz Festival.
