Renato doesn't think you needn't...either.

I entered the jazz world in 1994 with the purchase of John Coltrane's magnum opus “A Love Supreme.” There was no turning back.

I graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a bachelor's degree in jazz composition in 2002. I am currently enrolled at the University of Utah working on a master's degree in jazz studies. Between playing and composing, teaching constantly, choreographing fireworks shows, and driving my daughters and wife insane, I try and sleep a little.
