About Me

I was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1981. I started studying music during my elementary school years. After a few years-long brake, I returned to music and started playing the bass in 2000. Since then I graduated at the Kobanya Music Studio Budapest in 2007. where my teachers were Bela Lattmann, Viktor Hars and Egon Poka. In 2005. I formed a band called Howdy! Quartet that later become EarRadiance, which is my main band now with Tamas Nemeth “Nemci” on drums and Oliver Petkovic on guitar. An important concert was at Mojo Club Senta (Serbia) as a special guest of New York-based power trio TriPod in 2007. Also in 2005. I become a member of Tettamanti Tema which is among the leader young jazz groups in the Hungarian jazzclub scene. With this band, I played at EUROPAfest 2007. in Bucharest; Tunnel Vienna Live in Vienna; Tornalja Jazz Festival 2007. in Tornalja and in most of the jazz clubs in Budapest. I'm also a founding member of MAE Quintet, band of the talented young singer Anna Eszter Maitinsky. Through the years I was lucky enough to share the stage with such great musicians as drummer Jimmy Weinstein, singer Lilli Santon, trumpet player Istvan Fekete, bariton sax-player Alex Harding, pianist GREGO, sax-player Ferenc Muck, violin-virtuoso Gyula Horvath and many great young talents of jazz.
