Houston based Jazz Guitarist is in the process of releasing his 3rd CD entitled “Melange de Jazz”. It utilizes the guitar organ trio to the utmost featuring originals and some jazz classics. Houston based organists Robert Sanders and Travis Doyle are featured on the CD along with Mike on tracks like Lonnie Smith's Son of Ice Bag, Minority, Recorda Mae and a Trudy Pitts type feel is achieved on an original by Mike called “The Mad Hatter”. Organist Robert Sanders is featured on an original called “Love Trip” and the drummer, Andrew Griffin is featured on some hot and heavy trading later on in the 6/8 cut.

Mike's current trio plays the circuit in Houston with legendary drummer Marion Booker Jr. who previously played with both Lonnie Smith and George Benson.
