Longtime Washington, DC resident, I have been reviewing live and recorded performances (mostly jazz) since the early 1980s. Have written for the usual domestic jazz mag suspects, and, oh so briefly, for the Washington Post. Day job is as a curator (music ) with the Smithsonian's American History Museum.
