Daniel Warren

About Me

Daniel “Dank” Warren was born in Tennessee under the strong influence of deep south gospel, blues, soul and jazz. He was soon taken under the wing of mentor and Memphis jazz piano lengend Donald Brown (Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers) Warren became know in the Tennessee and Atlanta jazz scene before relocating to New York City where he now resides. After many years on the New York scene, Warren founded film production/composition company, Groovestrings. Daniel has produced music for ABC Television, Universal Records, Sony/ATV and the City of New York Housing Presevation Department.
