Autocrat, Gentleman Farmer, Jazz Aficionado
About Me
I grew up in a very rural area. The music of the day, so to speak, was Don Williams, Willie Nelson, and Merle Haggard (among others).
A hip uncle allowed me to stay with him in the big city for a few weeks one summer. He took me to a jazz festival as well as some jazz clubs. I was hooked!
I still reside in the country but am probably the only farmer that listens to Duke, Count, Baron, Lady Day, The Maharaja, and The Divine One while at work in the fields.
My Jazz Story
I met Louie Bellson. What an incredibly kind and classy man. He had time for everyone and always treated you as if you were the star instead of the other way around.
