Ella said it, and it's true; it don't mean a thing...

Don't try to tell me any of the rock or pop “artist” masquerading at some of the “jazz” festivals are jazz musicians. I don't won't to hear it and frankly, am offended when they try to sell that to anyone. Jazz is alive and well and doesn't need glitz, glamour, or extraneous superfluous redundancy to make it appealing.
