Ginger Holiday
Jazz vocalist
About Me
Ginger Holiday aka Erin Kate moved to NYC in 2009. She knew she wanted
to pursue the arts in some sort of fashion. She’s always been
interested in theater, art and music. She had come from Colorado with
a BFA in fiber art but knew that the choice to sing was obvious. She
was in an indie rock band called Ginger Kid for three years after
moving to NYC, and while she enjoyed writing her own material for the
first time, she felt like something was missing, mainly jazz music.
After Ginger Kid broke up, Erin Kate decided to use the name to create
her jazz name Ginger Holiday. Ginger Kid and of course the great
Billie Holiday. Everyone uses a stage name right?
Ginger Holiday is currently working on building a repertoire and
seeking players.
