I write for jazz and beyound - Scrivo di jazz e altri suoni

I'm one of the founding members of Europe Jazz Media – a community of jazz journalists, media professionals and broadcasters. I organised various contemporary music and performing arts events, and since 2010 I have worked as artistic curators of Bologna’s Angelica Festival. I collaborated with AllAboutJazz, Il Giornale della Musica and various Norwegian institutions in Italy (Royal Norwegian Embassy, Royal Norwegian Consulate in Bologna), as well as with Jazzforum, Music Norway, Listen to Norway and Jazznytt. In 2014 I published the book ““Il Suono del Nord - La Norvegia protagonista della scena jazz Europea” for Auditorium. In 2015 it was released the English edition “The Sound of the North - Norway and the European Jazz Scene “translated by Melinda Mele and curated by Fiona Talkington (Auditorium International) Italian bio: Mi piace guardare avanti e non fermarmi a ricordare nostalgicamente qualcosa che non si ripeterà. Coltrane è Coltrane, ma è ancor più difficile venire dopo e dire qualcosa di interessante: ogni stagione ha i suoi eroi… Collaboro con All About Jazz Italia e il Giornale della Musica. Sono tra i membri fondatori di EJM (Europe Jazz Media) e della selezione mensile EJM – Charts. Sono tra i curatori artistici di Angelica Festival e organizzo iniziative nell'ambito della musica e delle arti performative contemporanee. Nel 2014 ho pubblicato il libro “Il Suono del Nord - La Norvegia protagonista della scena jazz Europea” per Auditorium Edizioni. Nel 2015 è uscita l'edizione inglese “The Sound of the North - Norway and the European Jazz Scene” tradotta da Melinda Mele e curata da Fiona Talkington (Auditorium International)
