My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it is all about overcoming the challenges of life joyously. Bet you have never heard that before. I was first exposed to jazz as a child, listening to the big bands, negro spirituals, and dancehall music that my parents listened to. The first jazz record I bought was Belo Horizonte (McLaughlin) and Wynton Marsalis (Marsalis). My advice to new listeners - start with the blues.
