My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... my parents liked Goran Bregovic, the Beatles, laibach, and the Swans. Today, I seem to like them too. I was first exposed to jazz by my grandpa who liked Benny Goodman, which ain't really jazzz, but it swings. I met Marc Ribot in mid 1990-s, and liked his Lo Reed rendition of Shireless... The best show I ever attended will happen on the next gig. The first jazz record I bought was Lolita, a Slovenian band, and then Monk's Greatest Hits. My advice to new listeners is to listen with their eyes, and vice versa.
