My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...it's the best music on earth. I was first exposed to jazz...at age 6 by my mom, who used to hang out with John Coltrane. I met [musician name]...Christian McBride and Warren Wolf at the Village Vanguard on my birthday. The best show I ever attended was...Miles Davis in Grant Park in Chicago just before he died. My most recent best performance was that of Christian McBride and Warren Wolf in New York in Dec. 2011 The first jazz record I bought was...Doug & Jean Carnes Infant Eyes My advice to new listeners...broaden your horizons and check out the young jazz artists. Or whatever else you have in mind.
