My Jazz Story

I love jazz because of the total freedom to play from within. I was first exposed to jazz in 1949 when I heard Gene Krupa with Benny Goodman live. The first jazz record I bought was Skin Deep with Louis Bellson. If you haven't guessed, I'm a drummer.
