About Me

A native of Youngstown, Ohio, and at one time a radio celebrity in Paris, Texas, I now call Pittsburgh home. I'm a sucker for piano trios and big bands, classic Blue Note and the European avant garde, June Christy and Charles Mingus. I also love classical music and opera. I'm no musician (at least not in the creative sense of the word) but I do play a pretty mean iPod. I joined AAJ in 2007 as a section editor. Have a great day (or not).
