About Me
Depending on the time of day, I wear different hats. I'm the co-founder of Pitch Artist Services, founder of JM Creative and JansenMusic Records and founder of the Jazz Development Group.
I have over a decade of experience as a baritone saxophonist, bandleader, producer, composer, arranger, independent record label owner and knowledge of marketing through new technology. I've had first- hand experience in nearly all genres of music and all facets of the music business. I hold an MBA in Music Management from the William Paterson University of New Jersey and a BA in Jazz Studies from the University of Louisville, School of Music. I am a recording artist for (ARC) Artists Recording Collective and an endorsing saxophone artist for International Woodwind, based in Los Angeles. I specialize in the use of new technology, including the internet and social media, to market artists and their music.
