My Jazz Story

I love jazz because of its creativity, expression and interaction, and of course the sound! I was first exposed to jazz musicals and my parents' singing. I met Pat Metheny! The best shows I ever attended were: Pat Metheny Group, Wayne Shorter, and Yellowjackets. The first jazz record I bought was Joe Pass "Chops." My advice to new listeners... jazz music is one of the most fun genres, keep digging until you find your absolute favorites!
