We know that AllAboutJazz.com readers never stop looking for new music--specially free new music. So please check out NPR Music's Newport Jazz Festival Sampler.

In the interest of feeding these insatiable beasts, NPR Music is currently offering two free 12-song music samplers for download, featuring artists performing at this year's Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals in August. NPR Music is covering both festivals with webcasts and broadcasts--these free downloads preview the artists listeners will hear.

The jazz compilation boasts a mix of contemporary and classic with music from The The Bad Plus, Branford Marsalis, and Dave Brubeck among others.

Full details about the samplers and instructions on downloading them from iTunes are available here.
