New York, NY - Saint Peter's Church, 619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street, will celebrate the its 37th Annual All Nite Soul with an extended Festival of diverse jazz performances and events - all honoring Jazz Stateman and NEA Jazz Master Dr. Billy Taylor. Two evenings of musical performances, as well as the performance of Monk" - the play featuring Rome Neal, will reflect the wide diversity of Saint Peter's jazz offerings and the community it serves. The celebration culminates with All Nite Soul on Sunday, beginning at 5 PM with a Jazz Mass by Ike Sturm which includes 50 musicians including the Saint Peter's Church Choir, Jazz Sextet and Strings. At 7 PM the Annual All Nite Soul Benefit Concert will showcase more than a hundred musicians performing in tribute to the Jazz Ministry and honoring Dr. Billy Taylor.
