Rebecca has gained a reputation as a composer's singer, premiering new works for both large and small ensembles. She also brings freshness to jazz standards and stretches out to explore such diverse sources as Ray Charles, David Allan Coe, Ned Rorem, and the folk tradition, as well as writing her own compositions, one of which debuted in Jordan Hall with legendary bassist Cecil McBee. She has CDs on Rounder, Cadence, Red Toucan, Innova, and CNM Records.
