My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...I love it. I was first exposed to jazz...when I was about 4 years old and have been hooked ever since. I remember listening to Glen Miller on the radio with my brother when the buzz bomb flew near the bandstand and they continued playing. I met [musician name]..Terry Gibbs, Joe Henderson, Buddy de Franco, Plus many South African musicians. The best show I ever attended was Stan Kenton's first visit and concert in London after the Union boycott. For being special others too many to mention. . The first jazz record I bought was...Diga, Diga Do by Joe Daniels and his Hotshots when I was about 5 years old.
