“Please don't box me in” by Grace Kelly
From
Grace Kelly Live at Scullers (Pazz Productions) by Grace Kelly
Editor's Comments
Grace adds a lick of country with her voice that's a fresh surprise. There's a high polish mid section by the brass, and the guitar solos are magical. A youth anthem with a nice sentiment.
About
This album is my latest work, it's an eclectic mix of my music ranging from straight ahead jazz to funk, singer/songwriter and everything in between. It's also my debut live CD which is very exciting. It was recorded at one of my favorite clubs in Boston "Scullers Jazz Club" where I've been performing since I was 13!
The title track is called, "Please don't box me in" and that's the theme for the whole album. Good music is good music and even with the many styles it's all "me".
It's a magical album not only because of the music but because of the dynamic amazing audience that was there that night.
