“Thus and So” by Marlene Rosenberg
From
Bassprint (Origin Records) by Marlene Rosenberg
Editor's Comments
This was a different kind of stroll. The opening statement started off on an odd note, but it stopped seeming odd with the rest of the tune that followed. On its face, a straight-ahead tune, but extremely engaging with the tweaks and twists Rosenberg throws at the listener. Neat! Jazz from the Chicago scene.
