Flutist Bradley Leighton and composer/arranger/keyboardist Jason Miles have teamed up to begin work on a collection of tunes entitled East Coast Project. Leighton and Miles are a natural fit for one another, as they create a laid-back vibe with layers of melodious, finger-snapping grooves that surrender to the moment. What You Gonna Say is reminiscent of another era, yet it incorporates contemporary, harmonious voicings that push the music forward.
