Saxophonist Dennis Mitcheltree and his jazz trio - bassist Jesse Crawford and drummer Bill McClellan - presented a premiere of a new work inspired by events and personalities of the 2004 political season, painting a portrait of the humor, seriousness, anger, folly, righteousness and absurdity present in American politics.
