producer Michael Spiro, the octet presents an impressive assortment of interpretations of
Cuban & Jazz classics by Ignacio Piero, Arsenio Rodriguez, Wayne Shorter, Horace Silver &
Abdullah Ibrahim, as well as several originals. Sonando draws Latin music and jazz fans
together with their fluidly shifting rhythmic explorations, engaging arrangements and
soaring improvisations.
