About
Five minutes from downtown in Historic Eastern Market. Detroit's only late night jazz club serving up Cajun catfish and red beans and rice all night long. Artists that have played here include Larry Smith, Marcus Belgrave, George Davidson and many others. Always straight-ahead jazz Friday and Saturday. Thursdays is a vocal jazz jam session run by pianist Bill Meyer which is very popular. This is where James Carter comes to jam late at night when he's in town.
